KI Technology Group has been publishing a monthly newsletter for over 2 years. Each newsletter showcases one of our clients and has articles about technology that are intended to help business owners understand technololgy.
While we always had an area on our website for newsletters, posting them was difficult, so until now, the best way to get the newsletter was in the mail. Now that posting them is simple, you can always look for our newsletter starting the first of the month. All of the old newsletters are also there, so if you missed one, you can go back and read or print them.
I will also post a quick blog entry every month so that you will know the newsletter is posted and get a quick summary of what you will find there. In the future, I want to distribute it by mail or email, so readers will be able to choose to receive it the way that works best for them.
So, what's inside the May issue?
First, our client of the month is Great Lakes Engineering Group. We interviewed Amy Trahey, Founder and President, about her company and its reliance on technology. Amy is a lot of fun to work with and talks about the technology improvements she has realized since signing up with KI Technology Group.
There is also an article discussing the importance of having an Internet Acceptable Use Policy that outlines what you expect from your employees, what they can expect from you, and the consequences of violating the policy. You don't want to wait until an employee does something that reflects badly on your company to start thinking about this issue. We offer a free template to business owners who are interested in getting this process started.
And if you are dreading the cost to upgrade your server, check out the article about cloud computing. While this may not be a solution for everyone, in some situations it is the best way to upgrade your network. If you are due for an upgrade, you will want to read this article as a place to start researching the options available to you.
