At some point, many small companies have to decide if they want to outsource their technology support. Maybe you've been handling your technology issues yourself and it has just become too overwhelming. Perhaps you had an employee who was good with computers, but they don't work for you any more.
Recently, a good friend of mine - Lynda Wagner of NewTeq Computer Services - was interviewed for an article about IT outsourcing for a business publication in her area - Frederick, Maryland. It's a great article that may help you understand why outsourcing may be the best decision for your company and you can read it by clicking here.
If I had to choose one part of this article to highlight, I think it would be Lynda's comments about IT outsourcing as a business management philosophy. She says that "outsourcing your IT needs is the opposite of losing control. You're empowering yourself because you'll be able to focus more on what you are really good at and have a clearer picture of your office's computing environment. It's like having a business partner - someone who is laser-focused on that part of the busines, someone who will tell you straight-up about the good and the bad."
I couldn't have said it better myself!
