East Lansing, Michigan, August 29 – KI Technology Group today announced that KI president Linda Lynch was appointed to the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Solution Provider Education Committee at the association’s annual Breakaway conference, held at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida August 4th through 7th.
The Solution Provider Education Committee’s main focus is centered on the educational offerings provided under the banner of CompTIA University. With the overarching mission being “Education for Business Success” CompTIA University serves as CompTIA’s vendor neutral portfolio of educational resources and activities. The goal is to help solution providers in the area of business improvement, around such topics as sales, business planning, human resources, and more. The committees growing responsibilities will include the recommendation and vetting of ideas that will result in these educational activities and resources from the perspective of the solution provider.
“Many solution providers have excellent technical skills and are running successful companies, but struggle with the myriad of issues involved in the day to day operations that are outside of the technology arena”, said Lynch. “CompTIA University is an excellent way for us to get the information we need in areas such as human resources, retirement planning and marketing. I am proud to be able to provide input about what resources are needed by the solution provider community.”
