East Lansing, Michigan, October 5, 2009 – KI Technology Group announced today that it is now accepting applications for membership in the KI Computer Club. Membership in the KI Computer Club provides the same proactive services to residential clients that businesses have been enjoying for the past several years.
According to Linda Lynch, President, “businesses have been benefitting from plans that keep computer problems from occurring and keep systems running smoothly for the past several years. But no one in the Lansing area has been offering such services to residential clients. These plans eliminate the frustrations that often come with using a computer by running regular maintenance functions that are typically ignored by business and residential clients alike.”
After meeting with a group of residential clients, the team at KI Technology Group crafted a plan that monitors residential systems for potential problems and resolves them before they cause problems for the user. For example, a system with a hard drive that is starting to fail will typically be logging errors in the event log indicating there is a problem, but most users are not looking for these errors. Clients enrolled in the KI Computer Club will be notified of such problems and given the option to replace the hard drive before precious photos or music collections are lost.
