When you come to KI Technology Group for your next computer, we take the time to talk to you about what you want to use the computer for. We will help you select the system that best meets your needs and then we build it to your specifications. Whether you just need to check email and browse the internet, or are looking for a system that allows you to run the most demanding applications, we have the perfect system for you. And we won’t force you into buying Windows Vista just because it’s available. If you want Windows XP, we’ve got it!
2 – Personal attention
You can be sure that you will receive personal attention every time you call or stop in. Our staff knows many of our customers by name and we are always ready to help you out in any way we can.
3 – Quality components
Other manufacturers are interested only in offering the least expensive computer possible. Unfortunately, this often means that the components of their systems are not top quality. Sometimes it is even impossible to figure out what company manufactured a particular part! At KI Technology Group, we always use name brand quality components and we always buy from authorized distributors, guaranteeing that the manufacturer will stand by the product.
4 – Longer warranties
Because we only use name brand warranted parts, we are able to offer longer standard warranties on our systems. Every part in your new computer is covered by a one year parts warranty – minimum. All major components are covered by a minimum 3 year warranty, and the hard drives are all covered by a 5 year warranty. One of our staff members will be happy to discuss the details with you.
5 – No overselling
Some stores don’t care what you intend to use the computer for, they are only interested in selling you the newest technology – which generally comes with a higher price than may be necessary for your anticipated needs. We will never try to sell you more than you need to do the job and we will always explain your options and the cost of each one.
6 – Industry standard parts
Another common practice among the big computer manufacturers is to use proprietary parts manufactured exclusively for them. So when you have a failure, you must rely on the original manufacturer to supply the replacement parts – at an inflated price. We always use off the shelf components, available at any reputable computer store to build our machines. If you buy a computer from us and then relocate to another area, any computer repair facility would be able to repair our systems with parts that are readily available at a fair price.
7 - In house support
We support our systems in house from our location in Hannah Plaza. When you call us for support, you will not be connected with someone in another state or another country. In most cases, you will be able to talk to the technician who built your machine and can ask for him by name.
8 – No underselling
We always try to configure your machine so you will be happy with the way it performs when you get it home. We won’t install just the minimum amount of memory so we can charge you an inflated price plus a labor charge to install more later. We also won’t sell you less than you need just because that is what we have in stock. We want you to be pleased with your new computer.
9 - No unnecessary programs
Many manufacturers build systems that come with programs automatically installed to run at startup. Software companies are hoping that you will try their products and upgrade from a trial version to a fully licensed version. Over time, these programs, along with the programs you install, can significantly slow down your computer. Many of them are running in the background, but are never used. At KI Technology Group, we won’t install trial versions of software and strive to keep the number of programs loading at startup to a minimum.
